At 6' 7" and 220 I have a hard time getting the right size for cycling kits but Pearl iZUMi seems to be great for taller guys. I got the XXL as well but it was not any longer, just baggier so stuck with the XL which fits great on my frame. The thermal part of these is not much, but it is much better going out in these on a cooler fall day then summer bibs.

I would highly recommend these shorts to anyone who needs a bit extra when the mercury drops. I don't find them being too warm when used in conjunction with a pair of thermal leg warmers. I have used them when the tempreture has been below 5 degree Celcius and found them comfortable and I'm a person who feels cold when it is under 20 degrees. My only negative comment is that they don't handle the wind too well, as it cuts straight through but that could also be my ability to handle the cold. Altogether they are a good pair of bibs, as with every other PEarl Izumi Product which I have purchased, very resonably priced considering they are from the P.R.O. line of Pearl Izumi. Well worth the money spent.
I also have a pair of the Thermal TIghts for when it is really realy cold and have found these are extremely good too.
