It is a good quality wind jacket and packs tight occupying only 1/2 a rear pocket. My only gripe is that it flaps around a lot. I'm 5'11", 175 with a long torso and I got a large. Perhaps I should have gone for the medium.

I actually like this older model to the 2012 version because there are less logos on show. Easy to clean - just chuck it in the washing machine and it comes out looking like new. The fabric is not incredibly breathable but it is very light and strong so I have no worries about it ripping. Nice high collar. Great for autumn, spring and cool summer days. Try one on in the bike store first to get your correct size but don't be a pain and waste the sales person's time. I got a Large which is good for going to the gym etc but but too baggy in windy conditions. The noise of the excess material flapping in the wind is almost deafening. A great buy for $50 or whatever it was. $59?

I refer to this jacket as my "skin" because it is so handy to wear and then to pack in a jersey pocket. I have worn one out (bought in 2007) and am looking for another. Very practical garment.
